Yes, it is impossible to kill this little number, because it is not a part of the "Menu-pictures" ;)
We even spoke about this little number in the "Menü mit mehr als als 3x3 Matrix" -thread ;)

Maybe - if I would have an idea, how texts are drawed within the firmware. But I haven't.
But as far as I know, on every string there should be a call of SetColor, so maybe we can set a color scheme independent transparency. :-k
Unfortunately I can't do anything at the moment, because my phone is in Bocholt...

If you remove the menunumbers, you would also remove for exaple the head in the SMS editor (e. g.SMS 2 755). You know what I mean? I´ve this Problem with my "Vista vertikal" menu, too.
