well..my problem is that mine ef81 is signed from my operator (tim) and the same icons are orrible modified….I wanted the originals icons of ef81...tell me what can i do...

This kind of "debranding" (replacing menu-icons) is explicitly allowed here (and also was all the time) ;)
Only debranding via WinSwup-updates is not allowed to discuss here. But replacing branded menu-icons etc. is no problem at all :D

I read lots of stuff in the FAQ section about changing icons on the ef81, and i have some problems.
How can i find the files to change the icones?
Does BitPim program works with the cable that came in the phone package or i need a special cable?

@pessoa: Yes you can use BitPim/QPST/SXG75Controller/SXG75Kommunicator . The data cable included with the package is the right one ;)

Hi again.
I'm having more troubles. I was trying to change the icones of my cell phone following all the steps I've read in the FAQ section of this forum as well as the intructions of this site "www.sxg75.com" but i cannot connect the phone to the computer. The phone is a benq-siemens ef81 and it is recognized by the mobile phone manager, however it is impossible to tranfer files between computer and cell phone. With BitPim and QPST it is impossible to establish a connection. I choose the right ports, put everything like I read, but nothing, the programs always say that they don't recognize the phone.
If anybody knows how to solve this problem, please tell me.

At first the Icons from www.sxg75.com are not made for EF81, so they want work with EF81. MPM should be closed if you want to connect to your mobilephone.

Right. But i didn't use the sxg75.com icones, i don't have the chance. And when i try to connect to BitPim or QPST i always have the mpm turned off. I just refered the mpm because i can't use it too.

Ok. I finally realized how to open the phone file system. I downloaded SXG75 Kommunicator and it worked. Now, someone can tell me some site where i can download icones for ef81? I really want the standart icones. Another thing, in www.grafikpatch.de, there's some patches for ef81 FW23 and 27. Those patches work on FW48?

Hi again. I'm using the SXG75 Kommunicator as i said in the las message, but it still seems impossible to copy any file from the phone to the pc. I think that the phone is locked in some way. Is it possible? There's any way to get it lock mode out?
