CX65 fw16 and 3D java!!!

I am dowloading fw 16 for my cx65.... what are the improvements of this new version and what is all about 3d support???

In this site there are two downloadable English versions of FW16: 160100 and 160400. What's the difference between them? Is it something related to the Variant number?
Has anybody tried FW16 yet on the CX65? Is it reliable? Are FW12's bugs fixed? Does it have any new bugs?

The differences between the two versions is the language group. 1 is the group for the german speeking area and 4 ... i dont'n know, but i think the southern area with spanish

Yes it's related to the Variant number.... 1 is for variant 1** and 4 is for variant 4**

I have a 200 variant and used the fw 400 variant version on my phone.
No problems at all so you surely should be able to make the upgrade :)

I have variant A115 and installed FW 160100 version (that's the file "CX65-160100_eng.exe" from the Russian site indicated by EchiDNA). So far, no problems were detected.

Set Port Speed to 115.200

1. switch off phone
2. switch on phone
3. start update.

that's wrong... you can't crack your branding to install a normal firmware... you must wait for the special firmware for the vodafonebranding... (a121 is mine)

u can crack branding using NONbrand map. What about upload cx65 sw to cx6v... Now (after manipulatings with eeprom) I think, that bootcores are different... U can crack it only whith flasher, but there is no public flasher now :(

How did you copy the game to the mobile?
I'm asking this because I had some problems when I transferred it via the infrared port. The CX65 installed the game automatically and, when I tried to run it, I got a message saying 'unauthorized application' or something like that.
The way I was able to have it properly running was doing it all manually:
1. I created a new folder called Siemens 3D Rally inside the Java\Jam\Games folder (you can do that thru the Extras > File System menu).
2. Using a serial data cable and Mobile Phone Manager, I copied the three files (icon_1.png, Siemens 3D Rally.jad, Siemens 3D Rally.jar) from the PC into that new folder.
... and that was it! Hope this helps you.
