Can any of you teach me how to speed up my S75 to the original CPU speed of 208Mhz ?
My S75 is S7C product type, A800 in Variant
i have Smelter & Winsup (Latest one), which program do i actually require ?
Please guide me one by one

you can speed up your mobile to 208MHz with Patch.
Rename phone from S7C to S75 with x65flasher
apply firmware 40 for S75
apply patch "S75v40 - Speedup of mobile till 208 MHz" (http://avkiev.kiev.ua/Siemens/Patches/s75/speedup_208.vkp)

i have this midlet
My S75 is running under S7C, A800 variant, SW, FFS & MAP on 40.
I realised it's a Chinese language set, Siemens added T9en.ldb into my system for English SMS typing
I read from Chinese forum that we have to downgrade to English version fw 20 & below, then we'll be able to calculate the ESN & other thing through the px75v1 midlet.
I have all the neccessary utilities for flashing, mapping & patching
i have no confident in downgrading to English version of SW 20, too difficult.
i have just tried using Winswup 4.18 to flash FW17 xbi file but failed, it prompted me error

Latest information, yesterday i tried to downgrade to English version of FW24, but my S7C prompted installation failed
My S75 cannot downgrade to S75 product type at all, in another words, nothing can be done to apply patch to my phone
I bought my phone in Singapore, it's not branded in T-Mobile or O2 Mobile

The last chance for you is to try it with testpoint and papuautils. We have no howto for S75. Chaos has a howto on his site, as i know. But the site is down at the moment.
Testpoint is possible at the S75 withot opening the housing, there are 2 holes under the battery, where you can see the needed contacts. However, i never tried it :oops:

Looks like i have to give up all hopes on patching. My S7C just wouldn't allow me to downgrade to English version of FW24.
I even tried Winswup 4.18 to downgrade & it prompted me different Product Type....

Did you upgrade your S75 with Winswup or the official Updatetool or did you buy it with the FW40 on it? Because the minimum firmware of the phone is written into the bootcore and you can't downgrade below the firmware you bought your mobile with.
Edit: I think I have a solution for your problem: Download x65flasher from here (http://www.dirk-hilmer.de/cx65/index.php?dir=Software/&file=x65flasher%20R1.094.rar) and change your product id into "S75". Then the Update should work.

Well, if you do it with testpoint, you donīt need px75v4 to get esn and harsh. So it doesnīt matter, if you canot downgrade ;) If you have esn and harsh, you can access with xflasher
Edit: Not chaos has an hotwo for testpoint, itīs papua of course, sorry :oops:
