not for common amazon versions a101, a102 .. for now ..

I go to BQS website again and read carefully the firmware update preparation and...they mention like this : "please switch your mobile off, open the batterie-cover and remove the batterie".
I think this time preparation is quite different!?
And when I try to start self update with firmware 26 A112, it mention :"switch your mobile phone off and on again and then connect it to your PC via a data cable".
My question is which is correct?

you should definately re-insert it .. ;)
but there is a difference between rebooting and ex-changing battery.
eg. the restoring of the backup of the phone-book will not work by just switching off/on. this won't do a hard-reset.

Prepare your mobile
please switch your mobile off, open the batterie-cover and remove the batterie.Check the currently installed firmware
you'll find the variant number behind the following description : S30880-S2640-
example for variant number : A102
I read it myself now, you have to remove batterie to find the variant number,
as bu6 wrote they forgot to write about reinserting the batterie.
Bad mistake, should not happen.

there is noone witha a a112 ,a202, a203 here, so nobody can test is - so far.
but I dont think that there are changes to the already existing FW26.
