FW update trough DCA 540 (USB)

I know there has been some comotion that the FW12 was not updatable with the usb data-cable.
But is no FW updat possible with the USB?
Siemens itself sells this datacable, so why won't they release a update version for the USB users?

or has someone a way to do a update with the USB datacable?

sorry for you, but there is no way to update a x65 phone with the dca 540, firmware updates are atm only possible with dca 500 and 510. because all new firmware releases since today don't support full usb cable i think that it'll be in future, too.
