when i try to update it says:
"no answer from mobile, maybe not with new update-consept?"
i try with 9600, 57600, 115200 baud rates... but nothing changed.

Try this step, in the device manager, go to ports and the USB driver for DCA 510 properties, go to port settings and change the speed to 57600, make sure in the swup you also select the same baud rate. after that restart your computer and your handphone before do the update.

i try that but same problem again.
i try to upload v12 with official updater and same error.
but i can update cf62 with that cable..?? why say error with cx65? cf62 updater has different version of winswup. i can select some usb settings in that. but cx65 updater dont have any usb settings...

i can use mpm with this cable. i can firmware update cf62. but i cannot firmware update with winswup v4.05
(i think i can update with winswup v.3.xx because i can update cf62 with that version of winswup)

Hello,
I just got a DCA-510 (noname) but I am having some trouble installing the driver for it. I tried the PL-2303 driver that came along with the Cable and the one from the Siemens site. But the cable never shows up under the Device Manager... I know that it worls though since I can access the phone using the MobilePhoneManager software from Siemens.
Any ideas anyone?

Unfortunately it seems that the cable that I have is a DCA-540 .. not a DCA-510 .. :cry:
I now ordered an original DCA-510 and will try again after that.
