SXG75 Problem when upload themes via DCA-540

Recently, when I finish to download THEMES from this site, it named with xxxxx.sdt.zip.
e.g. : VF_Steel_ported_from_EF81_Vodafone_Steel.sdt.zip

Several month ago, after finish download it named directly to xxxxx.sdt and can be placed directly to brew\mod\cmgr\pp\thm\usr using BitPim or SXG Controller via DCA-540.

Now it can't be like that anymore. When I do renaming from VF_Steel_ported_from_EF81_Vodafone_Steel.sdt.zip to VF-Steel.sdt and placed to the correct folder after phone restart, it is initialized by the phone but nothing in theme folder!

Do you have idea to solve it?

look your email

you may have junk left after the theme uninstallation in your

brew\mod\cmgr\cs\thm\usr folder

remove all files starting with vfsteel and then try to install theme as usual

Now I get all my Themes back under SVN26_xx-International-LG01.

How to install a theme in the 1st place?????

I copied sdt files into Themes folderbut the files werent reckognized.
Then in the folder brew\mod\cmgr\pp\thm\usr via DCA-540.

I had to create folders thm\usr, since only brew\mod\cmgr\pp existed.

Once uploaded the files there, I can not find them or do anything else.

Did you restart the phone?
Themes will be installed after entering the PIN.

I'm a rookie regarding Siemens phones. The SXG75 is my 1st siemens one, and I got it yesterday. I had SGH D820 before. A pretty phone, with good camera and video performance but not so fun..

Only you need to do (like I wrote in my post) is:
Use BMC 1.0 software for this.
1 Connect the phone
2 Switch to obex in upper menu
3. Go to user/themes
4. On left side find theme file (sdt) on your PC
5. rigt click with mouse over theme file and click install
program will ask you to restart the phone, click yes

Also in this programe you can manipulate with BREW files

It`s very easy.
