S65 SMS Vibration length

Hello all, PLease excuse that I only speak english, no Deutsch.
I am 44 and from Australia, am a builder and am much into all things to do with computers. And I would now like to try some things on my mobile.

I have been reading all this stuff on modding and patching and think you guys are fantastic and with great knowledge, I hope you can help me.

My problem is this my S65 is great except one thing, I would like the SMS vibrate to be longer like that of the alarm or appointment notification. The SMS will only vibrate 2-3 times depending on which setting eg. normal, helicopter, train etc. I tried all different ringtones etc but no good. I can make this happen on my C60 but not on S65.

I use SMS more han anything so this is a problem.:(

At this stage I only have a dca 540 cable and understand that I cannot patch or update till I get dca-510.
Does anyone know how I can make this phone vibrate longer for SMS???
Is there a setting or patch?

And a longer SMS Vibra you can test a longer SMS-Ringtone, then the Vibra must be longer.

Your english seems quite good to me.
I have tried many different ringtones and seems the vibration is always the same. Have been through this on many phones and really want to get this one to work.
Have tried even to record long ring tone and to set the longest one possible but seems not to change the vibrate time. I see you have this phone. How long can you make the SMS vibrate for?

It vibrates 2 Times. when it became a SMS.

You can make an Update to FW 58 for Your S65.

It seems with FW58 it can not be done either is that correct.
Anyway glad you tried, I now know more.

But your FW 16? is very Buggy.
Update to FW 58 is Better works.
