Hello,i need some help,i wanted to use gps in my own country,witch is Latvia,i putted on plan a route,find my country,writed adress and so,and when i push on arrow-start button,the phone is asking CDODayton code,where can i get it,on VDOdayton.com/mobilenavigation i cant get it because they cannot offer any products for mobile phone navigation anymore..what i need to do? :no:
P.S if i have a phone with gps i wanna use it 100% :D

vdodayton has stopped distribution of mobile phone navigation. You can use Nav4all instead www.nav4all.com. Works fine and at less cost than vdodayton or falk activepilot (only the data transfer cost of your provider).

nav4all is a program you can download from the posted address. Choose your preferred language and you'll find information, download instructions and links.
I use nav4all for local navigation and falk activepilot for highway trips (due to the activepilot feature to avoid traffic jams). Acticepilot cost 0.99€ per route + data transfer cost. nav4all as mentioned above is free.

Hmm,why i cant install that nav4all,i put on phone browser www.nav4all.com/install ,than phone is something downloadig,witch size is 3kb,then he is asking to setup the software,i agree..when downloading starts i recaive an error "network error" but i know,tag with gprs setting all is fine..
Maybe i need somehow swich on the gps receiver..if so,i dont know how,vdo i deleted from my phone...plzz,tell me somene step by step,how to install that navigation system on my phone,i m from latvia,in homepage i cand find usefull tips how to do it :(

there are other software than nav4all:
- google maps (also with route calculation and display) Name is MGMaps
- amAze
I do not have a SXG75, you can try them out.

Hello,
the easiest way to install nav4all is to download it to your PC. Therefor I suggest you Firefox Browser with UserAgentSwitcher...you can tell Firefox to behave like an SXG75. Download the file from the url mentioned before. In the *.jad file you will find the URL to download the *.jar file.
When both files are on your PC you should use JavaMidletInstaller to transfer the files to your SXG75. After restarting it Nav4All should install and work.

Ok,so far so good,i got instaled it atlast,but now i have a new problem :D
When i go to setup,to GPS setup,and when i search any gpr internal devices,the result is 0 ,adn na4all says error:Java security error!
Restart na4all and answer bluetooth security question with yes.
Where is that damn question,and what deal here is with gps,sxg75 has built in gps receiver,does he?

I use the German version so I don't know the menu you use. At my phone I start nav4all. On the start menu I choose "setup" then "GPS setup" then "internal GPS (LAPI)".
Thats all. No bluetooth etc. To get the first GPS location will take up to one hour and with good weather (no clouds) the receiving of GPS signals is easier for the phone.

I install Nav4AllSXG.jad and Nav4AllSXG.jar to my SXG75 using JMI (Java Midlet Installer). It works fine.
You can download both files from here :
After install I go to GPS information and SXG75 shows me my position within ± 60 second.
Cool application.
Weard,i do the same thing,and no gps response,he have no conection :(
Maybe in Latvia it doesnt work :?

Maybe you can try to update or downgrade your current firmware.
My case is after firmware 22, I install SVN26_xx-International-LG01-selfmade.exe (44,382 kB).
Here I got problem for GPS Receiving signal.
Then I install W5V0_de-BRDHandel-std_22_0098.exe (76,886 kB).
I can get signal easily but the phone always restart by itself.
Finally I install to W5V0_xx-International-LG04_26_0107.exe (73,058 kB) and it works fine until now....

The reason for it restart avery way, is due the usage from several gps apps, like, 2 minutes nav4all, then we change for vdo, and then, treckbuddy, etc.
if i only use 1 app, and don't switch, it gets ok all the way out, no matter the kms i drive :)

Brother...my phone always restarts by itself after downgrade to svn.22 is not due to usage of several GPS Application. Just after getting satellite signal, within 30 seconds restarts...and only Nav4All inside.
When I did downgrade or update, there wasn't option to Customization...so it is done with FULL CUSTOMIZATION, either svn.22 or svn.26.
Maybe your firmware is "specific" for your phone???
Is there anything I can get info from your current firmware?

i just downloaded both files, from handy-faq and multifund.
my sxg is a normal production unit, with the date code of built from january 2006 :)
maybe you used one official upgrade?
anyway, you issue is very tricky.
