fore all of u ho thing about updating the ef81 to ef82 forget it u will only get a blank display and alot of prob getting back to ef81 firmware SO FORGET IT unless u have a phone u are willing to destroy

In normal Mode 3GSwup gives you an Errormessage.

Don't use Download Mode aka Emergency Download.

Delete qcsbl.mbn qcsblhd_cfgdata.mbn ! These files could kill the Production Key mobile. But only in Download Mode.

This file can flash without problems into EF81, SXG75...
EF82_de-BRDHandel-std_01_0019.qvcefs

BTW.: It is normally for EF82.

Yes I know, (okay sounds weird, but it´s true) i´ve only exchanged so pics but why can´t we flash the whole software into the EF81, is the hardware so diffrent?

the ef81 are 2 inch
the ef82 are 2.2 inch

Is that right that you´ve already tried to Update the EF82 SVN into the EF81? How got you back the Original SVN into your EF81?

well that is the tricky part u need qstp and multiply image
then u have to load the folder u have u ef81 files in and then load the right files fore ef81
but yes i have ef82 mix in my phone and it works just fine better than the ef81 svn 58

if u can make the resolution to an 2 inch screen then u can also load the hole firmware the phone starts up wit the hole firmware in but the screen wont because off the size different

Sorry, can you please show me this more detailed?

What do you mean by ef82 mix? The same like mine(changed the images like adfree wrote ealier)?

janielsen, it really would be nice to know, whether your firmware-mix has got a mediaplayer with working repeat and shuffle (what would be interesting), or just those little nice red images (i wouldn´t care about that, as I created a mod for EF81 (http://forum.modopo.com/themes-wallpapers-klingeltoene-co/t-16809-ef81-ef82-mod.html) which does this, too).

By the way: According to official BQS-data, the display of EF81 is 2.2 inches, the one of EF82 even bigger. But as they are said to have the same resolution, this doesn´t really matter. The different screen sizes don´t kill your phone if you flash EF82-fw to EF81. It is something else, might have to do with different keys (product key & fieldtest key..) and because these phones are simply different.

EDIT: OK, I read some of your posts in other forums, and I know a bit more know.. too bad I don´t have a proto, too.. but: There´s allways a way to get rid of problems.. In some days I might get a second EF81 so that I ´ll be able to make some experiments.. we´ll see.
