on the radio menu @ sx1, we can rename the radio station after it stored. how could we rename it on sxg75?

AFAIK you can't. The stored station name is the name on RDS when you stored it.

If you want to use one j2me radio app, if that app allow yu to change the names, then, it shall be possible.
With the original radio, it isn't.
But why you will want to give another name to the radio station? :s

Maybe the radio data is hidden somewhere within the file system... just like the playlist contents.

In my country some radio stations had their own CB (cell broadcast) message. So, it (radio name) will occur authomatically, when SXG75 set on it's frequency.

That's exactly what RDS on the SXG75 is for!

The stored radio stations' names and frequencies are stored in the brew\mod\fmradio\res\fmradio_db file. After making a backup copy of it, you can try editing it to see if you can customize the names.

Just use Notepad, or, better yet, a hex editor.

...yep, i had already used both of em...it still dusnt make any changes.
it saved as [filename].txt and it cant be used because handy was automatically back to standart setting (there is no presets saved).
while i used winhex, i changed the radio preset to its name. handy didnt recognized and was back too ;(

the reason could be, that the firmware has opened the file and loaded it's content to memory. so you can change the file, but later when shutting down phone it could be that the contents from mem are rewritten to file.
so try to replace the file before entering the pin (if possible), or if not possible, replace the file in filesystem, and after some seconds remove the battery.
dont know if it works, just an idea.
