I've bought cx65. On my computer i have irda on usb. Computer recognizes cx65 and gprs modem over irda. I tried mpm, s25vonce and vissie and niether one works. They don't recognize phone. I use win xp and 98.
PLEASE HELP
i start loosing my nerves with it :x

have you tested to reboot both ,phone and comp.?
( i am not sure about w98 :roll: does it support correctly the newest drivers and is able to communicate via irda perfectly, so far, used w98 ~ 5 years ago ..) but sometimes this happends, that the usb irda drivers may some how "hang" on Xp ( noticed it on xpSp1 ) on sp2 not so frequet. also not sure what is happening in phone, LOL, but i have found cure, if re-booting both..

Re-booting didn't help me. My MPM (downloaded from this web site, then deleted, downloaded from official Siemens web site & installed) is still not recognizing my phone...:cry: I am uisng XP, SP2...
Any ideas?

i'm having the same problem...i can't connect with mpm and i have xp sp2...so perhaps that's the problem....i mean service pack 2

irda connection works only at short distance, max. 20 cm. !!!

Does the computer recognize the phone when it's in range? If not, then try pointing the phone's camera at the IrDA window and see if it light up. If so, you've got the same problem as me...
Go to Device Manager, uninstall the infrared device, and reboot the computer. After rebooting, it should work. :)
