Just finished updating with a FW58, works 90 times better than the OLD(factory default I think), but now I can't connect to any networks.
I tried searching manually but it takes forever and still nothing, I tried with:
Vodafone RO
Orange RO
Cosmote RO
even with a spanish T-Mobile SIM and still the same problem.
If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help, or if now how to change the FW to the factory one...better slow and with signal...than faster and no sginal.
Restore your NV items. I hope the procedure is clear...
Concentrate your eyes only of the Files from 3GSwup and add template_EF81.BRT.

I did exactly what you instructed me to do, now after 2-3 mins it connects to ORANGE RO, but I can't make any phone calls, it's just says it calling and after a while...appears to redial
Please help!

You mean u have only these files copied from 3GSwup into an extra/clean folder?

And only add the *.BRT? And you saw the same messages like the Screenshot show you?

I selected only GSM, it was set on UMTS, and that's why it did not made any calls....
I wonder if it will allow me to make 3G calls?

Maybe you are in an area without 3G Network. Use automatic if you want to use GSM and 3G Network. The Phone will switch automatically between Networks.

tanx i finally did it.but i added these 3 more files(becuz those 6 files didnt help me):
EF81_de-BRDHandel-std_58_0147.qsnv
EF81_de-BRDHandel-std_58_0147.qvcefs
EF81_de-BRDHandel-std_58_0147.qsnv
and it worked for me.after second update now my phone agian works:-D
966 NV items found.
962 successfuly downloaded to mobile.

what u need to do if no service is shown after update is that u need to disable u pincode on the card then the phone will work
