I have problem with camera in my cx65 - not with making photos but with making 'movies', when I click "record" it simply quits to main menu and I can't do anything :(

I have a lot of free space in memory - did you have the same problem with your cx65 mobiles? 2-3 days ago I made some movies, now I can't :/

Any ideas?

normaly it helps if you just turn the phone off and then on again then you should be able to take pictures again.

This is a well known problem under CX65-Users and maybe the most discussed problem in this forum.
We all hope, that a firmware-update will be released soon, which fixes this bug.
There's only a temporary Solution for this problem:
Restart your mobile and try again, it should work then, for two times, maybe, but then you will be kicked back to the "desktop".
I hope, that Siemens will release a new firmware version (there isn't even ONE download for the CX65 on www.my-siemens.com ) soon.
I heard, that you can flash FW-version 8 on your mobile on your own (or your siemens-partner). It's already on the Internet.
But I don't know, if this bug is fixed with this update.
We all have to wait.
I hope, I could help you a little bit.

you need to go to service center.

or download firmware 8, there's in german language forum.

One more question about camera

Why I can record only 11 sec of 'movie' if i can have have 5, 10 or even 15 'movies' (each 11 sec) in my phone? Is there any way to record longer 'movies' than 11 sec?

By now I think that is impossible or at least nowhere in the net I have found a way to get by this limitation.Hope in future firmware updates this limit will be removed.
