Reading the russian forums - http://forum.siemens-club.ru/ I found out how you can turn off the sound that appears when taking pictures.
For SW08:
1. in the phone's folders find- \Data\System\HMI\profile.pd
2. copy that file to your PC and make a backup of it (just in case :wink: )
3. open it with the well known notepad
4. check of there is a line 000056:T:Camera_Click_0=2:\Default\CameraClickMelody.wav
- if not just add 000027:T:Camera_Click_0=2:\
- if yes then you have SWxx other from SW08 :)
5. save and copy back to the phone
6. it is all done :D enjoy you silent photoshoot
( you may have to restart the phone for this to work)

i already know that file,
in SW04 that file is read only so i can't copy that file from pc to the phone.

Did you follow the full instructions correctly? It sound unlikely that the modifications have anything to do with the simcard used.
Remember: Copy the modified file back to the CX65 and mark it as "read-only" with the file explorer.

are u sure it's okay to make profile.db to "read only" ????
if i change simcard, the profile change too
example: logo for simcard A is different with logo for simcard B
this logo saved in profile.db too
so if i change it to read only, profile.db cannot be wriiten, maybe can't change themes, ringtone and others.

Does anyone know what line I should add to the profile.pd on my S65?
Ive tried with:
000027:T:Camera_Click_0=2:\
000056:T:Camera_Click_0=2:\
Ive also tried those lines and a path to a .wav-file to see if i can replace it. But nothing worked. I don't have the option to use OD because I only have IrDA and Win95. It kinda sucks ;D

The way of disabling camera sound described in this thread works only for FWs till FW08. For FW11 or FW12 it does not work.
