You can now record videos up to 30 seconds and the photos seem to be less compressed. Before the update I had 5,37 MB of free space and could make 157 photos, now the camera displays only 125 to me (I've checked the free space, it's the same).

It seems so. Definitely the number of photos you can take has been reduced, so in case of the same free space the size of each photo must be bigger.
Even in the official changelog you can read about "camera improvements" and the longer videos would only be one improvement.

Can I ask the italian translators to translate "TEMI" instead of "ARGOMENTI" in the "Setup" ("Impostazioni" in italian) menu ?

"Argomenti" is like saying "TOPICS" in english, makes no sense...
Also in German language they have written correctly, I presume, "Themen"...

And with FW 12 a strange "VISUAL IMPOST" has come instead of "Display" in the "Setup" (impostazioni) menu.
At least it could be: "Impost. visive" or "Impost. di visualizzazione".
Leave it as "DISPLAY", we can understand it, it's like the word MOUSE in the pc language that we in Italy use as well....
