CX65 CX65 infrared compatibility with Win98

I used to have XP running on my laptop IBM Thinpad 600E not far ago and had no problems with files transfer (both directions laptop<->cx65) through my IR, the drivers were automatically loaded by XP the first time I put my cx65 nearby. Now I have Win98SE as OS and have configured my IR port correctly so whenever the cx65 is in range it gets recognized as new piece of hardware but win98 cannot find suitable drivers for it and it stays as 'unknown device'. I tried though transfering data but only succeeded in sending files to the phone from the laptop and not viceversa. Does anyone know what driver to use for Win98SE so that it can recognize my cx65 correctly?

maybe because the laptop...

i use win98 rather than xp
in xp, the infrared automatic closed sometime, but in win98 it's stable
