What I found:
If you connect the rx pin to the gnd or tx you'll probably get a few characters of line noise. If the rx pin is connected to the tx pin, then anything you type into the terminal application will be echoed back to you. So, just by playing with the wiring on the cable you can usually figure out the pins. orig. DCA140 Pin Colour 1 green 2 white 5/6 black 7 red 3/4 connected AF51, A31, x81, EL71, S68 Pinout Pin Signal 3 = Rx 4 = Tx 5 = GND 7 = Ign ...DCA-140 is used for the data transfer (if you use java midlet to unlock your phone), but working for flash/unlock on the some phones (Com3...Com4). Use DCA-500, change the connector and solder to the new configuration: Pin 1 DCA500/510 - Pin 7 DCA100 Pin 2 DCA500/510 - Pin 5 DCA100 Pin 3 DCA500/510 - Pin 3 DCA100 Pin 4 DCA500/510 - Pin 4 DCA100 I made my own cable from an old chinese KQ8A Cable. First your cable must found by the pc without connection to the mobile, then you must find out which colours your cable uses for RX, TX, GND and Ign and at least you change them to pinout you need. The colours at my cable: red gnd white RX blue TX yellow Ign I don't know if AF51, A31, x81.... Pinout is right - I must change RX - TX! Hope this helps a little bit! |
