Wollte Euch nur darauf aufmerksam machen, das es von Jimm (einem ICQ Client fürs Handy) ne neue Version gibt: 0.3

Änderungen (auf englisch):

* NEW FEATURE: Added mp3 soundfile support for MIDP2 build. (Only if your device can play mp3)
* NEW FEATURE: Added vibrator support for MIDP2 build.
* NEW FEATURE: Current online status can be seen in main menu when online
* NEW FEATURE: Contact list can be shown even if offline
* NEW FEATURE: Supports sending of Type 2 messages
* NEW FEATURE: File transfer to other > ICQ v8 clients (MIDP2 version only)
* NEW FEATURE: New chat history added
* NEW FEATURE: Group display support
* Bugfix: City field is now taken into account which searching
* Before removing a contact form the list the user is asked if he really wants to
* Sending a message now leads to the chat history not to the contact list
* Added Hebrew translation
* Added back button to the status selet screen
* Quick adding temporary contact to contact list
* Switching between chats with "left" and "right" buttons
* There is now a new "Signaling" menu in options for sound settings
* You can now set the sound volume for online and message sounds
* General sound format support but only wav-files (PCM) will be in the release
* New option "Small font in chat"
* Search results are now drawn with DrawTools (like the new chat history)
* Many minor bugfixes

Ich habe Jimm auch schon installiert. Jedoch kann mein CX65 das Netzwerk nie finden.
Was muss ich denn konkret dafür einstellen?

Du musst als http Profil für Jimm (Im Applikationen Menü Jimm wählen und Options drücken) ein Internet Priofil einstellen. Bei o2 heisst das z.B. "O2 Internet". Bei den anderen Providern ähnlich. Was auf jeden Fall falsch ist ist WAP oder MMS.

Und noch ein Tipp, wenn ihr schon in diesem Menü seid.
Die Abbruchzeit sollte über 120 Sekunden liegen, ansonsten kommt es nach dieser Zeit zu einem Verbindungsabbruch. (Zumindestens was das in alten JIMM Versionen der Fall.)
Ich habe hier 180 eingestellt.

PS.: Das Menü ist auch über Menu - Einstellungen - Datenverbindungen - HTTP-Profil zu erreichen.

Da sich an dem internen Keep-allive timer nix geändert hat sollte sie über 120 sek liegen,das stimmt.

Hab mich mit dem Programm bis jetzt noch nicht beschäftigt, aber das würde mich interessieren (sowie Internet):
Das Prog benötigt sicherlich eine Internet Verbindung, dann bezahle ich ja nur wenn ich auch Traffic habe oder? Ist doch mit GPRS oder so?!?!?!?
Kann ich mit Jimm auch wie ganz normal über ICQ chatten?

Wie die Internetverbindung hergestellt wird ist Jimm egal. GPRS bietet sich natürlich an.
Klar, es ist ein ICQ Client, man kann damit mit Leuten auf seiner Kontaktliste reden. Wie mit jedem anderen ICQ Client auch.

müssen dann die anderen auch Jimm haben, oder kann ich dann mit welchen auf pc mit icq chatten?
wieviel verbraucht jimm denn ca. und was kostet es ca. (kommt warscheinlich auf den Anbieter an, aber ungefähr)

Nein es ist ein normaler ICQ Client, so als ob man daheim ICQ startet. Kosten hängen von der Länge der Liste usw ab. Aber so 30-60 kb pro Stunde sind realistisch.
